Staff in St.Petroc's nursery believe that children learn best when they experience things first hand and use all of their senses to explore. Children have access to a large outdoor area throughout every session in our nursery. In addition to this at least once a week, the children enjoy a Wild Tribe session in the school's Environment Area. Staff support children to find out about the local environment including the weather, plants, wildlife and habitats.
