Pupil Premium Vision Statement

Here at St. Petroc’s we want the very best for every child in our care. With our mission statement; Through God’s love and lessons, we care, share and grow together; at the heart of everything we do, along with our Christian values of trust, respect, love, friendship, hope and joy; we have created a nurturing and welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued and part of a caring Christian family.

We are committed to equality and diversity of opportunity so that every individual can achieve their highest potential. Jesus said, ‘I have come that you may have life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). At St. Petroc’s C of E Primary School, we believe the purpose of education is to nurture and develop the whole child: mind, body, heart and spirit, enabling them to thrive and to be the person they are fully capable of being; we believe that no gift is too small to be shared. Through our exciting curriculum we provide opportunities to break through barriers, increase resilience and place inclusivity at the heart of all we do.

Our curriculum is developed to enable children to be curious, confident and independent learners, alongside responsible, resilient and caring citizens in their community. As they leave St. Petroc’s, we want every child to be ready to take on the next steps in their journey to adulthood with a love of learning, positive attitudes and a rounded set of values and skills to guide them.
