Celebrating learning is at the heart of the Children's University
At St.Petroc's we are currently in the process of securing a partnership with the Children's University. We have an assembly planned in February to explain the programme to the children and a letter will be sent home for parents. Children will be able to be signed up for this programme through ParentPay.
What is Children's University?
Children’s University is a charity that works in partnership with schools to create a love of learning in children. The programme encourages and celebrates participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school.
How does it work?
Children are issued a 'Passport to Learning' through school in which they record their participation in quality-assured activities that they are involved in outside of the classroom. Once Children have gained significant hours, their achievements are celebrated at a university-style graduation ceremony at Plymouth University.
