Autumn Term 2 2019 - 'Ice Magic'
After half term, we decided because of the change in weather, the children's interest in this and their continued love of animals, we would focus on ice and animals that live in cold places. We used a 'talking tub' with ice and snow themed items to spark questions and activities that the children would like to learn about. We have started to find out about snow and ice, cold places and the animals that live there. The children have been exploring penguins and polar bears, as well as finding out about Inuit people. The children have enjoyed playing with the ice castle and finding ways to free the penguins from the frozen eggs. Please take a look at the photos of some of our learning below.
